The President Abraham Lincoln Chia Pet?

Yes! The Lincoln Chia Pet is a reality! This was a gift to me- and one that falls under the “what do you get a fellow who loves Lincoln but probably has everything department.” Well, score one for the gift giver! No, I didn’t own a Lincoln Chia Pet. I’ve also never owned a Chia anything. Chia pets have a history of coming in a variety of forms, including animals, cartoon characters, and U.S. Presidents. Two other Presidents-Washington and Obama are also available. The Obama Chia was taken off market for a time due to protests of racism. It’s now available for purchase again. I don’t know how the issue was resolved. I think Chia Pets have been around since the early 1980’s. I don’t know if I’m actually going to take mine out of the box and grow it. I tend to keep things in their packaging and save them as “collectables.” Will the Lincoln Chia Pet ever become a “collectable?” I don’t know, but we’ll see. Before I close this posting, I would like to remark once again how Mr. Lincoln continues to permeate our culture. I don’t know that’s it’s manifestations are always a good thing-I mean Lincoln has gone from being a near diety to being represented as a Chia Pet? In the end, I still look at it as evidence of the impact Lincoln has had on America and the world. What do you think?

I don’t know, maybe the head without the plantgrowth is 6 inches or so tall?

How large is it? I cannot find the size anywhere and was considering a few for an outdoor display.
